Hey ,
Welcome back to our weekly Good-For-You video sends! Jo-Anna & I have been having a blast, & getting some terrific feedback. We've noticed the same conversation comes up often with our followers. They tell us they just can't find the time to take good care of themselves.
So this week, we've put together 10 tips that are just like us, a collection of small, easy tips you can use right away to get you into the groove of making time to practice whatever you need to.
In fact, the headline says it all: Stop-Breathe-Think! We are all so caught up in the times that so often distract us, we've forgotten to cultivate our everyday focus on what's really important.
Make yourself a promise that each day, if only for a few moments, you'll stop, take a deep breath, & think about spending a few minutes doing something that takes care of you.
Once you do, take the next step & set aside a time & place for you to keep the promise you made. Make it into an outdoor adventure, or a quiet moment of meditation. Create a pleasurable ritual around it to keep you motivated & engaged.
You'll find that after a few weeks, you'll feel so much healthier & happier, you'll wonder why you thought it was all too much to set up. You'll see it's now as much a part of living well every day as eating, sleeping, working & spending time with those you love!
We've attached a copy of our 10 Tips To Make Time To Practice, so you can get started right away. You can also download a copy here.
You can even keep our Personal Permission Slip handy. It's a coloful, fun way to remind yourself that Me-Time is a must! We've done a whole blog & podcast on the subject, & we revisit the ideas often. Here's the link for the blog/podcast Me-Time combo from our new Living Well Community Facebook page.
Speaking of Living Well, while you're there, sign up & we'll send you our blog/ combos every week, so you'll never miss anything! Or just Sign up here to become part of our community.
Finally, our "28 Days To A Healthier You" digital course is just the ticket as we come out of our dark Covid winter & prepare for brighter, healthier-happier days of spring & summer ahead.
Enjoy!
Patrick & Jo-Anna
